This building is near my work, and there are a set of tracks that run up to the building which aren't used anymore. I just noticed that above where each track ends there is a number.

This little guy was sitting behind us at the Rockies game this evening. How did he get into the upperdeck? No one knows. One thing I do know, he didn't pray hard enough for the Rockies to beat the Giants. Sad showing tonight, but I suppose Carly is happy her team won, right?

Nicole's flower. She switched to our department at work, and her old bosses gave her a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.

Fire escapes.
I like the juxtaposition of the old and new architecture in SF.

I checked out A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving at the library today. When I opened it up I found dried flowers inside. I think I'll keep this columbine, and send the other three pressed flowers back with the book so other people can find them. Maybe I'll even add a flower of my own...

My brother gave me a gift certificate for a one pound box of See's candies about six years ago. I finally cashed it in. Yum!

Hi.
Well, this is me. I had to take a picture of myself so that the prof I'm TAing for could put it with my "bio." Ugh. Here is one of the ones I didn't use.

Isn't this thundercloud INSANE? It was headed east so we didn't get to become more intimate with it, which I'm pretty sure was a good thing.

I drive by this bridge often when I pick up my car after carpooling or bussing to Boulder. Today was one of the first days I had to go back up there for "orientation." (Aren't I already oriented?? That's what I'd like to know.) Anyway, I do love this bridge.

Today we went to Elitch Lanes to bowl with T's work people. It was... awkward, at first. But, then it got a little better. The best part of the night, though, for T at least, was when he FINALLY bowled over 200. Apparently this was a goal he'd had for a VERY LONG TIME!!
The keyboard was a little wonky so it was hard to spell, thus, my bowling call sign "Sassafrass" is a little sad. T's ("Dr. Gutterball") ended up being "DrGutterrraaaggh" which, when you think about it, is actually kind of cool.
Also, please disregard my meager score on this occasion. I hold to my claim that my arm was quite tired by this point.

And then the heaven's opened up and we got hailed and rained upon. We took cover at East High School. Here's what it looked like when I peeked out. This picture doesn't really capture the storm's fury, but oh well.
And here's the pretty light inside the alcove where we hunkered down for a while.

This may be the only record that this cat ever existed...it's a very sad story actually.

This is me and my friend Priya (who Carly and I actually lived with our sophomore year of college) and who just got a job in NY and will be moving there on Friday. We met up to have a few beers and hang out before she leaves.
Good luck Priya!

I took this from Panorama Point at Golden Gate Canyon State Park. There is a nice little boardwalk here so T and I are thinking that we might have our wedding ceremony here.

Here is Jenny playing pool at the Skylark. I love the Skylark. I love it because of its pool. And because of its indoor shuffleboard. And because it is all rockabilly. And because it is the bar that Trey and I said "I love you" for the first time.
