This is the alley right across the street from my work. I always think it's really strange that our office building is nestled into this cliff. That's Telegraph Hill, the one with Coit Tower on the top. And I love that yellow flowering bush/tree.
Today was my 29th birthday, and so I invited folks out to Vine Street Pub, for some good beers and food. I had such a wonderful time with everyone. This little one above is one of the two babies that attended the festivities at the beginning of the evening (yep, must be getting older...) Isn't she awesome and celebrating in style with the slinky that Jess got me from Casa Bonita the night before? I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful people around me who I dig, and who seem to think I'm alright too. So far, I'm liking 29.
My step-brother, who has been living in Germany for the last couple of winters, just came back for a visit and brought me this mini boot shot glass! Das boot!
I got this on my screen this morning at work when I tried to open a file. It was a very exciting morning.
I know I already posted a picture of this orchid a few days ago, but I just had to capture it in the light. These flowers are amazing!
Little Jon Jon sleeping on the bed. Note the new little notch in his ear. It's his first ear notch. He's a real man now.
This is a beautiful orchid I received from some very good friends of mine. Thank you to both of you. It brightens my day! Someday I'll take a picture of it in the daylight so you can see the colors.
Lichen and Moss on a coastal rock, now known as William's Rock.
This is a fantastically wonderful bay tree on our favorite hike to spread some of William's ashes.
A sunflower in one of the bouquets for my mom. Today we had a celebration for William. Yellow was one of his favorite colors.
