(Because I didn't actually take any pictures on Thursday... It was a heckuvaday.)
Last year these flowers were dead, so I pulled them out. Then this year they came back. I don't think these flowers are supposed to do that.
Water runoff from my flower barrel on the back patio. The barrel is completely decomposing, hence the piece of wood it shed next to it.

This is where we spread William's ashes. It was a wonderful experience on one of the most beautiful (and hottest) days in the city. This beach meant a lot to William at a very pivotal point in his life. This end of the beach is the most stunning and also a nude beach. Quite a few family members of William's were there, and there were definitely some odd moments.
Today was the memorial. It was absolutely beautiful and definitely honored the man that William was. We are guessing that about 250 to 300 people came. He would have loved it.
Snow snow go away, come again some other day. Like, in winter for instance. Love, Stephanie.

A few times now I have been walking to or from work, and towering over the top of one of the piers I will see a HUGE ship. Once it was a cruise ship, but I was late to work and didn't have time to take a picture. But this gal was even bigger.
There are these plaques all down the Embarcadero at the Muni stops. This is one of the two at my stop near work. It was raining and I thought the poem fit the mood of San Francisco today.
