I used to hand the liquor store cashier my ID along with my credit card - save everyone some trouble. A couple of years ago, a telemarketer asked to speak with my "Mommy." Not too too long ago, I had to prove my age to gain access to a rated R. Yet, for the past few months, I haven't gotten carded while buying alcohol. Not once. Why? I almost miss the days of being carded.
I have the same problem...although I also don't get carded as much any more. I think it's because my job is stressful so I'm aging now. :(
