White rose for my mother's 60th Birthday.Sebastopol, CA

The fun lights inside the historic street car from Milan, Italy. This is one of the many historic street cars that I ride every day to and from work.
Weird viney sculpture things in the nubby trees in front of City Hall. They were putting them up this morning when I walked by. It looked like they were using willow branches.
Old fashioned building juxtaposed against a modern office building background with the lamp from Narnia.
I call this "Drinking Away the Pain."
This is right across from my trolley stop, next to Pier 29, on the Embarcadero. First of all, I love that I wait at a trolley stop every day, and secondly, this place creeps me out. It's a circus theater/dinner thing. It's been around for years, so apparently it does well. But look at those faces! Yikes.
I have always wanted a pair on red high heels. This weekend I finally bought them! I keep trying them on and loving them. Hey, even a rancher gal needs to get spiffed up every once in a while.
It's been storming on and off all weekend, but occasionally the sun breaks through. I love how vivid the light is after the rain.
The fish platter at the "make your own sushi" party that we hosted last night for my best friend's birthday. I cut up all that fish, and there are some left-overs if anyone wants to come over and make some sushi! Unfortunately the salmon and octopus are gone, but we have some of everything else.
My current obsession with trashy vampire books. I can't stop! I think I need help...
The Bay Bridge from Potrero Hill.
One of my favorite buildings in the city. I want to work in one of the corner offices.
