This is one of my favorite statues in Denver. At the south entrance of City Park is this tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. You can see that MLK is at the top and standing on the shoulders of Mahatma Gandhi, Frederick Douglass, Rosa Parks and Sojourner Truth (among others, I'm sure.) Anyway, I like it, and there are history lessons at each point opposite of each of the people that came before MLK.

  1. I like this. We have a Gandhi statue behind the Ferry Building. During the farmer's market, he looks like he's trekking through all the people. It's wonderful.
